We love playng downtown for the atmosphere and affordable table games. Are there any $5 craps games left downtown or have the minimums gone up due to fewer players allowed at the tables?
The second hand information I've heard is that it fluctuates wildly based upon time of day, day of week, and general crowd size. Typical low minimums can be found on morning and afternoon weekdays. Weekends and evenings can see them go up to $20 in some cases.
Not a first hand account...just what I've heard.
sunday my first day here table minimums are 10 dolars downtown on blackjack and craps.15 and 25 if your on the strip
$5 Blackjack (3-2) was available at the Plaza las week. I never saw a craps table under $10.
On Saturday and Sunday (Oct 3, 4) I experienced this for blackjack.
Golden Gate: Afternoon table mins of $10, Evening minumums of $10, but most tables were $15 minimum. I think that I saw a $25 table.
El Cortez: On Sunday at about dinner time, there were plenty of $10 tables.

I only play craps...here's my report on craps table minimums as of 12/10
$5 downtown grand, Jerry's nugget
$10 Fremont , el cortez , plaza
$15 the D, golden gate, Circa
Ellis island, AZ Charlie's Decatur also have $5 craps (not downtown but worth noting)
