We were in Vegas early Oct 2020, some casinos were taking temps as you entered, heading back Feb 28, any temps being checked downtown? Thanks viva las vegas

When iwas there in December nobody was taking temps downtown. Circa was checking id's to make sure you were over 21 ...but they didn't care what you temp was.
the off strip places all took temps at the door....Stations, Boyd, AZ Charlie's, Tuscany
Some casinos have a sensor gizmo that is barely noticeable, but it captures the temp of person walking by. Records on a computer screen that someone monitors. Have seen this in one Strip casino but not another one. Don't know about others. I wouldn't have known about the one I saw at Wynn, other than I asked the guy at the desk what he was doing (in a friendly way...LOL). He told me about the temp thing, how it reads temps of those walking by it. So there could be temp monitoring going on in some places and we just don't see it.

Naah, they use that technology to scan you to see how much cash you're carrying, and if it's less than $100, they'll throw you out. And of course, when they do that to you, it raises your temperature, so they can say that they barred you for health reasons.

LOL, so true, Kevin. Similar to the 'wallet biopsy' performed when you go to the ER.

Just got back home from Vegas last night and the only places where I went that were checking temps was the California and the Fremont and the restaurant Nacho Daddy's. The Plaza and Circa were checking ID's. Also seeing a lot people not fully wearing their masks. It was pretty busy Friday,Saturday and Sunday but other days pretty quiet. Fremont street real bad of weed but had a great time and came home with more than I brought thanks to a nice jackpot Monday night.
Don't know about the strip as I just hung out downtown.
Congrats on that get-well jackpot! Glad you had such a good time.
