Transportation from downtown to red rock station

Hi Guys. We will be spending one nt at Red Rock Station and heading downtown for that day/evening. What is the best way to get back to the hotel at the end of the nt? Easiest, most convenient, cheapest,etc... Thanks in advance.

Easiest and most convenient: taxi. Taking the freeways it'll be about $47 before tip.

Cheapest: bus. If you time it right, you can make one change to a WAX bus and be back at Red Rock in 50 minutes for just $2.

Depending on how late you are going back to Red Rock, the last Shuttle from Fashion Show mall to Red Rock leaves at 9:40 p.m. The "Duece" and SDX (express) both leave for the strip from the Bonneville (RTC) Center every 15 mins until 2 a.m. Both stop at the Fashion Show Mall. Not sure how you are getting from Red Rock to downtown for the day/evening activites but the Shuttle runs to/from the fashion Show Mall 6 times a day starting at 11:10 a.m..

Thx Champster. Am getting the Shuttle from Red rock to Fashion show mall early afternoon. Then get a bus or cab downtown for a lengthy coupon run and some partying. I don't think it's likely we would be able to get the last shuttle, too much of a time crunch. So judging by Chilcoot's advice we would have to take two buses from downtown back to red rock station? But at $2. Each x 4 that's only $8 compared to a cab of around $50.

you could try Uber or Lyft as well. Usually a lot cheaper than a taxi.

I thought they put the brakes on Uber, no?
