Trip to las Vegas in two and a half weeks

My husband and I will be arriving at 12:30 on sep 21...we are staying at California....I am hoping the Labor Day holiday brings a lot of people downtown to play ... The more those video poker machines and slots are played the more play I get from them...at least that's been my experience.

I have noticed dollar slots aren't being played as much as they were say one or two years ago ...

Looking forward to getting a good glass of wine and settling down to play ... California redwood grill and bar ... The bar portion, has some very good wine choices ... And although the restaurant is closed wed and thur, the bar opens around 5pm.

I haven't posted trip reports here, but will this time since we have this new downtown site .

We love downtown as well but haven't stayed there on our trips. We get a rental car so we go all over town.

Only about 2 months until our next trip!

I feel the same way polybear. Love playing at the Cal and it does seem like when it is busy you win more!

Maybe it is my imagination I guess in my mind it is more exciting when it is busy.
