Triple George Grill?

I'm tempted by the LVA coupon for our upcoming trip, but the reviews for the TGG are all over the place--from "the best" to "never again." And that wide variance exists across more than one review platform.

The $20 lunch play looks good, too. What's been your experience with the place? Would you go back? Anything prepared especially well?

I've dined there twice for the lunch special and both times it was a good experience. Half sandwich, soup or salad and a dessert; not bad for 20 bucks. The sandwiches are delicious and if you are with someone you can split their steak sandwich which is a good bargain. Service has always been terrific. This place is on my A list for lunch. Besides, it's right next door to Hogs and Heifers, my favorite afternoon "watering hole".

That seems steep for lunch, actually--I ask, why not a WHOLE sandwich?

I don't have an opinion on the quality there, because I always get tempted by the half-off deals at Freedom Beat. 25 points gets you the coupon.

Its been around since day 1 of the Downtown Grand opening - so I think people like it.   I've only done cocktails there which they do a good job with.     The food menu is pretty uninspired in my opinion - basic steaks, pasta, seafood prepared with good, high-end  ingredients.     Nothing wrong with that..

One of the things I like about Vegas is they have so many food offerings that go beyond what I can get in my home city.  SO those are the places I seek out.  Triple G doesnt fall into that category but that doesnt mean it sucks or anything.

Their sandwiches run on the large size, half is plenty for most folks

Triple George reminds me of a nice pub in Ireland but wit better food. I have eaten there 4-5 times, so, yes. I like it very much and the coupon is a wonderful bonus. As a matter of fact, I think I may have been one of the first people to use it (it was an online coupon that just came out then). The staff didn't know how to handle it, but they accepted it.
