I don't know what criteria were used in those rankings, but they seem surprising. If downtown was the focus, the El Cortez, Four Queens, and Plaza should be in there somewhere.
I would assume that it would be based on the overall casino experience and IF that is the criteria I am not sure why anyone who plays blackjack would vote for Four Queens. the last time I was there it was 6:5 blackjack everywhere.
Downtown Grand is also a great option downtown! Best rooms / Pool in the area at a reasonable price with decent comps especially for slot players.
Take those results with a big grain of salt...or the whole bottle.
the surveys for these things frequently allow you to vote as often as you like. Some hotel marketing departments push employees and customers to participate in those surveys more aggressively than others.
It all depends on how one defines "Best". Do you mean room comforts, restaurants, BJ, video poker, etc.
Room comforts - Golden Nugget
Restaurants - plenty of good steakhouses
BJ - must pay 3:2
VP - 4Q and Fremont (They have NSUD but the Boyd slot club really sucks)
