Vegas Club Hotel set to reopen January 18th

On Saturday, I was booking over the phone a room offer that I received for the Plaza. When I inquired about the status of the hotel at the Vegas Club, I was told that the rooms were being remodeled, and that the hotel would reopen on January 18th. Has anyone else heard about this?

Well I've known for a while that they have been working on the remodeling of the rooms at Las Vegas Club (rooms there for a while have been open on the weekends but not during the week) and so I figured that someday soon that I'd be hearing that they were reopening.
Hopefully also like the Plaza they will end up having some "Green Rooms" (which people have to request in advance) where in exchange for them not being cleaned (except maybe for a change of towels), then the person whose name is on the room gets $5 per day in Freeplay.

I inquired about having a "green room " during my stay at the Plaza Dec. 22 - 26th
Upon checking in at the desk, the girl just stared at me and said that there is no such
thing as a " green room " I then went on to explain about the $5 credit per day during
your stay for not having your room cleaned that day. Once again she said their was no
such program and if their " ever " was, it was a very long time ago.

SO, no dice on a green room at the Plaza !

Wow, Lee, that's interesting because I was able to get this in November (although I could only get it for two of the three nights that I was there [from 11/11-11/14]). But maybe you can get it only through a host.
I got my Green Room by going through my host Sabreena Perkins. Tell her that RecVPPlayer sent you and I'll let her know right now that the Front Desk staff at Plaza doesn't know about Green Rooms!

Don't know about the LV Club, but if you haven't stayed at the renovated rooms at the Plaza, they are very nice and comfortable and not expensive at all. Most times we've paid around $30.

Do be aware that at least at Plaza (I don't know if this is the same at Las Vegas Club) they now charge a $10 per day Resort Fee (this fee is waived if you have a comped room).

I walked through the back entrance into LV Club from the Cal and the back room and restaurant areas were boared-up. It was mid-day Friday and I did not see any construction workers. I asked the player's club worker what was going-on, was the place being renovated, and she said she had no idea. The casino area in the front was operational. So what's going on there?
