Very Interesting Blackjack Dealer at the Plaza

Played some $5 3:2 blackjack at the Plaza and had a lady dealer named Annette. She has been dealing for a long time and spent 15 years dealing at the Stardust back during Lefty Rosenthal's days. She was very interesting to talk to. Said that Tony Spilatro was so mean that they wouldn't let the lady dealers (there was only a few of them back then) deal to him.

I was losing at blackjack but enjoyed talking to her so much I kept playing longer than I normally would've while losing.

If you play blackjack at the Plaza, check to see if she's there.
That is a GREAT tip, thank you!
Nice story, thanks -- I'll look her up next week!
That sounds great. I remember playing blackjack at the Stardust one time shortly before it closed. The pit boss had been a dancer back in the day and had so many great stories to tell. I almost didn't mind losing.

I never went to LV before 2004 and I always regret that I never went when the Mob ran it, and never saw the Dunes/Sands/Desert Inn and all of those old joints.

Thanks for that post which was indeed very interesting!
