where to find a good room rate for downtown...

I need a room downtown for may 1 and 2, 2015. prefer fremont or cal or 4 queens, but open to any for a good price. ive stayed at fremont and played at fremont but didn't get any good offers from them. stayed a few time at golden gate, no offers, played a lot at the d and no offers, and I know they have my email and snail mail address. ive even used the mrb coupons for hotels but there are none for 2015. (thanks in advance!)

Try the online reservations for the hotels. I booked 3 nights at El Cortez and received a 25% discount for each night due to having the three nights and online. Also check the offers through LVA. Found some good ones there.

Did you have your players card in when you played?

Call, ask to speak to a Host, ask if they can bring you in on a good rate.
Be sure you are signed up on their web sites.
Have you received e-mail or snail mail offers?

thx for the feedback so far! vegas.com had the best offer so far. (not great) so I booked with them, but i'll keep looking and cancel if something better is found. and they just recently sent be an offer for $25 off next hotel booking if I use visa checkout.
