Why Isn't The Zipline Working Downtown:

We were at the D for three nights Friday through Monday and noticed that the Zip Line was not in service. Many young tourist were complaining that they came down to ride it and felt ripped off paying bus or cab fare to get there. Too cold? Broken? Out of Business already?
Hasn't opened yet. I heard it was to do with permits and inspections.
Fuck, I hope it never opens again ?
What an eyesore to downtown Vegas,
Ask me hat I really think about this ugly sight !
Who care's if this zip line isn't working, Wait until
you and your wife are walking down Fremont St and
someone from the zipline throws up/down on you ?

So you're saying you can't wait for your first ride?

Nope, seen this Albatros before when it was in operation.
I only feel that this thing impedes any mobile foot traffic on
either end of this ride.
Hey, I'm with you on all of that. It was just a question. Never thought of the puke strafing one might get, valid point.
Because God hates zip lines.
I'm guessing (hoping) it wont be there in a few years. Stuff like this belongs on the strip.
With you pj...unsuspecting person strolling along is suddenly smacked on the head by a wayward flip flop, purse or worse. Oh, the humanity...
Not a positive addition, IMHO.
prediction-------lawsuit will be filed by someone hit by a falling object from the zip-line-----zip-line will then close---only question is how long will it take to happen-----there is not enough room to close off pedestrian traffic under the line which should be done for safety reasons----one solution would be to place a net under the line to catch falling objects, this would add to the obtuse beautification that the line brings to the freemont street experience---
