zip line at fremont street

I was just interested read in one of the forums that someone rode the zip line at fremont street.
Does anyone know anything about this and could you give me some info about this.

It's a lot of fun. Hope this helps....

Did it back in August. Can't wait to do it again! I think the cost was $15. There is a weight limit of 250lbs which I just made. You go to the top of the parking garage where they put the harness on you. They go over some safety info and off you go. They take pictures of you along the way and when you get to the end and are for sale. Its a great time and a must do if you are downtown.

In December it was $15.00 for one ride or $50.00 all day.
There was a surcharge (I think $12.00) at night.

I loved it had a blast! Way too much fun LOL. They are talking of expanding it all the way down the street. WOO HOO!

My husband has done it twice now. The first time they didn't "catch" him on the landing and he ended up going back up the zipline half the way then stopping! It was no trouble though, as they had an employee crawl up the line and bring him back. Everyone on the street was chanting "go, go, go". It was a fun experience and he loved it the second time as well. He keeps trying to talk me into it. We'll see.

Now if they can just get it to go from Downtown to the Airport ................

Anyone been on the Fremont St. ziplines recently? Sounds like lots of fun and I'm gonna plan on it for my visit the end of August. What do they ask for the photos they take while you are riding the line?

I did it in May, just so I could say I did it. Not sure I'd do it again because of the cost.
