AC Boardwalk

How far a walk is it from Showboat to the Atlantic? Looks like a very long walk.
it is a bit of a hike----best bet is to take public transportation---the jitney----they run on pacific ave which is the street nearest the casinos on the boardwalk----thet are mini-buses-about 12 passengers] that run frequently, every 10 to 15 minutes or so------cost is $2.25 cash----tickets can be purchased in advance for $2.00 or 75c for senior citizens at various locations in ac----
Hey Now!
I stay at Resorts and walk it-
usually during off season.
The boardwalk gets really crowded this time of year.
I stop by the Trop. to take a break at Firewaters.
Yes it's a very long walk, we usually use the Jitney to go that far up and down the boardwalk. We were at the Atlantic club this weekend during our stay at the Tropicana. They have reconfigured their floor, took out all video keno which was a shock, as it's all I play - put in tons of new penny machines, and they have very limited video poker now. I am sorry that they made those changes, as it will be the last time I visit them for a long time.

Hey Now!
we will stop by the Atlantic Club when we are in town.. the free upgrade for a mid-level card and $100 FB is too good to pass up. Hope they still have the Jackpot Station machines..
"Cue da Dog!"
I walk from Showboat to Bally's, occasionally. It is about 3/4 of a mile and about halfway to the Atlantic Club. It would be a pleasant walk as the boards are very easy on your feet and you don't have to deal with traffic lights, etc. I would walk all the way to the Atlantic Club, if I had any interest in going there. I always take the Diamond shuttle or the Jitney for my return trip to Showboat.

I see that they have a promotion for Fridays in July where if you earn 1 comp dollar you get a free buffet. Anybody know how much you have to run thru a vp machine to get a comp dollar?
Hey...is this still the promotion?

We don't go up that far on the Boards...but it would be worth it.
go for a double play-----the revel is also running a promo----if you have an upgaded card like a diamond card from harrahs they will give you one of their upgrade cards ---and----$50 or more in slot play---they are not honoring a resorts upgrade card for whatever reason----
Hey Now!
the upgrade offer at the ACC might not still be going. Didn't see it on the website. Will find out on the 20th!
It's pretty easy to get mid-level at Resorts, so they might have gotten slammed...
