I thought the new requirement would cut back on people going to the DL. Spent Labor Day weekend at Harrahs AC and wandered over to the lounge to check it out.I considered spending the RCs since my tier level is only about 17K. Unfortunately there was a LONG line waiting to get in and I am not good a twaiting in line. I waited about ten-fifteen minutes and ran out of patience. Maybe I'll try again.
I was in AC this past weekend too and popped in Harrah's briefly and saw that line. Absolutely incredible. Couldn't believe it. Almost thought it was a joke. NO DL is worth that.
I haven't been to the Harrah's DL before but can't imagine it being much nicer than Caesars' or Showboat's and each time I went to those DLs there was absolutely no line so must have been a special crowd or something at Harrah's.
have been to all diamond lounges in ac-----go once a week-----harrahs has always been crowded and continues to be so--------it is the smallest of the 4 lounges ,capacity wise and has the smallest bar----no longer go there because of the wait and the crowded dining area as compared to the 3 other lounges----
Spent the 5th - 7th at Ballys AC. Spent the $20 in rc's on the DL. Did not have the rc's to enter the first night, so went in on the second night. No line and the lounge was almost empty. Food was improved over past trips and the shrimp cocktail was a nice touch. Made it home the evening of the 12th, and in the mail were 4 DL pass's for September and October. A day late (or more) and a dollar (20 rc's) short!
