AC Diamond Lounges

We are heading to AC mid- May. I haven't been there in thirty years, and my husband, who is diamond, has never been there. We are taking advantage of an offer from Harrah's for air, room, transportation, etc., so it was too good for us to pass up. I even took took off!

That said, can anyone give me a rundown of the DLs in AC--what they offer, the hours, etc? I surely would appreciate it.

All I can tell you is the AC Dimond Lounges have the vegas DL beat six ways to Sunday.

Joy,

My favorite of the AC diamond lounges is Bally's. I would then go with Caesars and I think that Harrah's and the Showboat's are fairly equal. As Dick said, the AC DLs offer a lot more than their LV counterparts. They usually have some hot food and sandwiches. Not sure what the hours are though and AC starts getting busier in May.

I would recommend that you trek over to the Borgata and have them upgrade you to Black Label from your diamond card. They should give you free slot play and enough comp dollars to cover your admission into their lounge - the Amphora room or their buffet which is the best in AC.

Trump, Tropicana and I think Resorts will probably upgrade you from diamond as well.
Thanks, Flip. Since we are at the marina anyway, i will drag my hubby over to Borgata. We will also visit the Boardwalk, so I am sure we will stop at Bally's. When I was there before, I didn't even know about player's cards, lol.

I agree with Flip. I really like Bally's Lounge the best but Showboat has better food most of the time.
Have fun....Maybe we will be in town when you are are.
Showboat Diamond Club hours are:

2 PM to 7:30 PM Monday-Thursday
2PM-11:30 PM Friday
Noon-11:30 PM Saturday
Noon-7:30 PM Sunday.

I suspect the hours are the same at the other properties.
I've never made the Ceasars DL, so with that being said; Ballys for the nicer ocean/boardwalk view. I prefer the food here. DL here is up the escalator, center casino, turn right, end of hall. (Also has the best VP in AC) The Showboat for a different atmoshphere, and an open air deck above the boardwalk. Upstairs also, toward the boardwalk end, SE side. Harrahs DL is on the first floor 1/4 to 1/3 of the way down the aisle from where the junket bus will drop you off, located to the right (nice place to hang if you have a later departure). DL's Usually have a line prior to opening (weekends and meal time especially)so try to avoid these times if possible for all of them. Can easily make a meal out of any of them if desired.
Thanks you Sheltie, Gamboozler, and Hudsons. Locations and hours were really helpful.

They certainly do close early during the week!

We are looking forward to the adventure.

Have a great time on your AC trip. Enjoy those diamond lounges, you earned it.
Dave,

I think that the best VP in AC is at the Borgata and then Resorts at this point. (Resorts has tons of 8/5 BP at 25c and up, some 9/6 JoB 25c and up - you have to look for them though. And 9/6 DDB at the $1 level.) I used to think that it was Trump Plaza, but they downgraded a bunch of machines and took a bunch more off the floor completely.
