AC Diamond Lounges

Flip,
You could be right! I know it used to be the Borgota, I was just going by what VPFree listed. But your right, the inventories they are a changing! I used to play at the Trop, but the inventory really changed
for the worse 3-4 years back. Diamond Jim's was/is? not to bad of a players lounge either.
Dave,

I miss the old Sands as far as having plenty of FP video poker to play.
Showboat has a craving ...haha- make that Carving station!

Once I got fresh hand made shrimps w/ pasta at Harrah's. (It was so good!)

Bally's and Caesars doesn't always have the best food but they are my faves places to hang out--- last time it was split pea w/ ham soup (Mmm)
chicken/egg salads, pasta and cold sandwiches--- but we only looked at the menu- didn't go it.
all of them make a seriously mean cappachino (with whipped cream)

I love split pea but we ended up at Arturos
What's this about a MENU!?

I suggestion for any of the Diamond Lounges - don't go in at opening time as there is always a line of folks waiting and it can sometimes be quite long. Go atleast an hour after opening and you, probably will be able to get right ot the buffet and some of the early arrivers will have left so there will be seats available. This method works well for me, but I only go on weekdays, so I'm not sure how crowded the lounges might be on the weekend, especially Saturday.

Showboat always has great soup and that is what I usually have for my lunch (unless it's made with fish).

Thanks for the tip, Ned.

joy,
the DL's post a menu so you know what is in there that day before you go in and have to show your card-- showing your card trips a ... trip.
Bally's and Caesars are a 10 minute inside walk from each other.
I find I always see a line at Caesars- maybe they have less staff..
regardless- the show a menu so look at it before you enter

I'm a big soup person too-- love my soups

Ned is correct- go 1/2 hour after they open and save yourself a wait in line.

Thanks, Noahcat. The DL at Hammond Horseshoe also posts a menu and has a full meal plus sandwiches and a small salad bar. Only soft drinks are comped, however.
