Hey Now!
Turkey Day at Resorts...
anybody else gonna be around????
We used to spend every Thanksgiving in Atlantic City. It is dead there on Wednesday night and Thursday, but it really fills in on Friday!!!! Lots of people go there to do some shopping at the outlet stores, so avoid driving on that Friday if you can.

I miss doing that, but now with my granddaughter, I hate to leave over the holiday. I am hoping to hit Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods on Friday if I can find the time after shopping.
Hey Now!
we're catching the 9:15 ferry at Cape May on Thur.. they only run a couple of times that day..
We never shop there anyway. I spoke to the head Chef at Cappricio's.. he sez he will have a special menu for Thur. They are running an incredible brunch on Sun. there now.
Considering Sandy, I hope everythings in good enough shape for you to go!

Hey Now!
Looks promising..
Ferry is back up...Casinos should be open this weekend
Just got back from four days there. Everything is totally fine. Some streets have more sand than you would normally see, but the casinos are unscathed, the boardwalk in the exact condition it was before the storm, all of the rides intact at Steel Pier (though closed for the season, anyway, I guess)...pretty amazing, actually.
I'm so glad to hear that. I can't make it up before the end of the year, so that makes me feel better. Not that there aren't plenty whose lives have been disrupted in that region, but I'm glad that something came thru it ok.
