It's interesting how different people react to LeBron. It's pretty easy to root for the Heat with such an all-star lineup. I know a lot of people in Akron still support LeBron whatever because he has done so much for their communtiy. Interesting that your Akron cousins support Cleveland. Are you from this area?

Nope not from Akron but I've probably spent over 200 days there since I was a kid. My cousins both attend Buchtel high school on Copley Rd. And they still love Lebron. They agree that he still supports the community in numerous ways, and they respect him for that.

I remember seeing him pump his own gas, in his hummer, in Akron, the first year he was in the NBA. I have 2 nieces who went to H.S. with him and say that he comes back to his alma mater every year with goodies.

I a Knicks fan but on the 20th I'll be cheering for the Cavs!

Interesting note about flashseats. My seats are in the "flashseats Que".I was new to "flashseats so when I spoke to my contact at Quicken, she told me that if I decide that I'm not going to use all 22 then I could sell the extrastixs through Flashseats. I doubt that im gonna have any extras but I gotta imagine that my $55.00 - Sec 123 - middle rows, will probably be worth a Little more come March 19th!

Try flashseats.com for those Cavs tickets. You can bid for tickets or just offer what people are asking. These are seats usually being sold by season ticket holders that cant make the game. you should be able to score club level seats for around $55 to $60

Thanks for that info. I guess I just assumed that since the Cavs website uses flashseats that it was the same thing. I'm passing on the OKC game since our plans have changed slightly but I'll be sure to check them out next time.
Will be visiting my MIL this summer and may check out the Horseshoe. Do they have any $5 bj with 3/2 payout during the week?

Also, what's the parking situation. Can you get out of paying the $15 (or whatever it is) to park in the garage?
JanaBanana, you can get free parking if you play for at least 30 minutes and get at least 50 tier points. When done playing swipe your TR card at the kiosk for a slip to give to cashier when leaving the garage. There is complimentary valet parking for diamond and seven *.

I have never seen $5 BJ tables there. Lowest I have noticed is $15 mornings and mid-week. Not sure if the payout is 3-2. Tables are always packed.

Thanks for the info. My MIL only plays slots so she didn't have any info on vp or bj. Although we will probably go to Atlantic City for a couple of days my husband still wanted to check out the Cleveland Horseshoe even though I've told him there isn't any good gambling at our level.
I'm thinking of going in June and I have comp nights at Renaissance Hotel and I notice that the parking is $24 a night. I'm a Diamond member so valet parking at the Casino is free. Is it a far walk to the Hotel from there?

Thanks
The parking fee is waived for comped rooms at the hotel. The Renaissance is a short indoor walk to the Casino through Tower City. The Casino valet parking is at the other side of the casino and is across the street which is where there is also a gift shop.
Valet fee is waived too for comped rooms and includes in/out pivileges. Valet is the way to go - much easier than using the parking hotel parking garage or the casino garage.
