Anyone know when the Paula Deene Buffet opens at Harrahs Joliet?

The website says early 2012 but I wondered if anyone has heard a date?
I have heard it was going to be in February 2012, but I think it might be closer to April. In April they will be closing the Mosaic resturant and turning that into the Diamond Lounge

WHAT! Mosaic does a great business and is a favorite with us.

Paula's place is still boarded up and we were peeking thru the cracks yesterday and NOTHING has been done inside yet. Maybe it's time for Harrah's to build up? Another level would certainly help business.

Any news when Paula will open if it still opens with all her negative press

I was just there last week I saw a sign that said April. I will be going there again this week, I will ask if they have a date in April and I will post it after that

It is still geared for April. I was talking to an employee when I was walking in on Saturday and they are very excitied about this opening. The guy had no idea about Paula's medical problems. I too wonder how that will affect this buffet/store.

March 15th is the last day for Mosaic and then it turns into the Diamond Lounge. It's almost like coming full cirle for the DL. It originally started out on the river side with the window views.
joyce et al

i am now a hammond player unless i need a room for the night.
hammond has many many more tables/machines/food choices.
this place is bigger than some lv downtown casinos.

waynes
waynes, I would go to Hammond but I live 5 minutes away from the Joliet casino! Location wins out!
so, dinner at your place for me and my friends!
Nice try!

Stopped in last night & walked around to see what type of info is posted. Moasaic closes 3/15 to reopen as the DL in April (no exact date given) and the same for Paula Deene. That puts their food outlets down to the Range and Acers. Doesn't seem like management thought this out very well.
