Atlantis/Bahamas

Has anyone been to Atlantis in the Bahamas? If so I'd love to hear about your experience!

We are moving to Jacksonville, FL next year and were thinking of going to Atlantis. The problem is, it's hard for me to wrap my head around paying for a room when I can go to a Caesars property and get it comped. I was just wondering if they will comp anything up front based on status at stateside casinos?

Thanks!
I poked around there website and it looks like they'll comp 4 nights with platinum or higher Caeasars cards. Problem it it's in the cruddy tower, the reviews for the Coral Tower on Tripadvisor are horrible.

Actually there's a lot of negative reviews for the entire resort.

On our last cruise that went to the Bahamas, we took a cab to Atlantis. (from the pier to go by cab, it was about $5 each) I am not sure I would go back, it was kinda stinky in the casino (kinda like sewer gas). There was hardly anyone in the casino. Also the machines seemed kinda tight to me.

Thanks, your comments just sealed it for me. I think we may try a cruise or go to an all inclusive in the Caribbean.

One of my bosses goes several times a year he and his wife love it!!
I will back up the cruiser on here. My wife and I went on a cruise with one of the stops in Nassau. I will never go back to Nassau and I will probably not visit at Atlantis again anytime soon. First off, every local will try to sell you something when you get off the boat and it just makes you feel uncomfortable. As for Atlantis, everything inside the resort is way over priced and the casino is small and tight. In the middle of the day, all tables mins were $25. When we asked for a $10 table to be open we were basically laughed at. Drinks service was non existent. Don't waste your time with the resort of the casino.
Been several times. PM me for Host Contact.

Problem is they comp you AFTER your play instead of before. If you do have good play history with Caesars they can check it and offer you better room rate. Once you come and play, they will review and comp off charges. We normal stay for a week and get everything except about $250 in taxes/tips comp'ed off.

It is a very expensive place to stay and play.
Just returned from Nassau 11 days ago. Stopped at the Atlantis for all of 10 mins, while docked there with NCL. Middle of the day on a Thursday. $25.00 on everything and horrible vibe. Im platinum at Ceasars. I decided to save my money for the NCL Breakaway ship craps tables. Not a good vibe at all!!!

When the new casino opens this year in Nassau, the Baha Mar, its gonna give the Atlantis some serious competition. This time next year, my Platinum may mean something there at either the Atlantis or Baha. Right now, they (Atlantis) are gonna try and get every dime they can!
I don't know why your platinum would mean anything there when it does not mean anything at harrahs anymore
