I will be in Biloxi March 16-19 on a junket from Toledo, Ohio. Just wondering if anyone was going to be in town during that time for a meet. I think it's St. Patty's day weekend.
i assume this is from mgm and you are staying at beau rivage...........i received the same offer .............i would love to go but i have never been there??
few questions...........how is the weather and do you have access to the gulf ?????
Rhousedj, My wife and I take these junkets several times a year and will keep this date in mine.
Charliepeete, The Beau junkets are well run and the casino is first class. The Beau sits directly on the gulf beside the Hard Rock, all other casinos are reached by shuttle or driving. Weather in Biloxi in March is unpredictable (every where else too). It has a very nice pool overlooking the gulf, a two minute walk from the front door and you are on a nice beach.
This will be my 4th trip on the junket to Beau Rivage via Toledo, Ohio. We have had an A++ experience everytime. The casino is very clean and spacious, rooms are wonderful, and the food is yummy.
the St Patty parade starts just in front of the Grand and runs in front of the Hard Rock before it turns north. Bags are a must to hold all the stuff they throw from the parade. it's great fun and very G rated compared to the Parade in New Orleans.
They throw beads, candy, cups, stuffed animals, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and onions just to name a few. And don't forget to kiss the men with the flowers and they will give you one.
