The Borgata, Video Poker and comps.

I know we have some experts on this game so help me out.

The objective is to get free rooms at the Borgata.

1. Which machines are best to play?
2. What type of action do you have to give them for mid week comped rooms?

The Borgata used to have 3 8/5 Bonus poker machines (outide the high roller area). The have been downgraded.
There are 9/6 JOB & 9/6 DDBP outside of the B-Bar. The chances of a mid week comp'd room are good.
But, remember summer time is the prime season in AC.

I'll give you a rough estimate and say you need to earn about $40 comp dollars in a day's play to get monthly offers with comp mid week rooms. That is about $20,000 coin in/day for Video poker, and much less for slots. Not sure if you can get your current stay comped with that play. You would have to ask a host. Otherwise you play and in a month or two the offers will kick in. I cannot tell you if just one trip with that level of play will trigger the comp offers, or if you need 2-3 before they kick in. This is just a rough estimate to give you an idea.

In my experience, it's much easier for table players to get comp Sunday-Friday rooms; than video poker players. Saturday night is the tough one, I seldom have anything below $129/$119/$109 for a Saturday in the summer.

I play mostly craps, with a small amount of baccarat at the 'Borg.
