BTW: I had some other random thoughts that might be helpful.
1. Your breakfast options are not like the Borgata.
I haven't tried the buffet so I can't comment on that.
The next option is Cafe Roma. This is not like the Metropolitan Cafe.
Service is horrible, both slow and nasty. Food is mediocre.
2. If you walk around between 7-9 am, you will see single men (mostly) walking round mumbling
"why can't I get a god damned cup of coffee in this place"
There is no food court or Srabucks type place at Caesars.
Your best option is the Wild West coffee/ baked goods consession.
If you are in the Centurion Tower, exit on the second floor. Look across the room to youir left
and you will see the escalator down. It will take you right to this place.
There is a coffee wagon in the morning by the hotel check in. Good luck if you can find someone who actually shows up to work there in the AM.
Personally, I go on the boardwalk and walk over to the Starbucks inside the Trump Plaza.
3. The bar and lounge area on the ground floor has been remodled, but you will still see the
street people from the meat market on Atlantic avenue hanging around.
I recommend the lounge on the second floor with a view out to the ocean.
On my last trip I sat there and orderd a bourbon. The bar tender warned me that it would be $11.
I told him it was only $9 downstairs. He smirked and said "If you want to sit next to a crack whore and have her pimp looking at you its $9. You want to sit here, its $11.
I am planning a trip in March to play in a tournament at Caesars. They are offering a tournament rate of $79 mid week for the cheapest room. I decided to book a room at the Sheraton and walk over.
