caesars properties in ac

have heard that all caesares properties in ac will be changing rules on their full pay video-poker games----it will now take $50 to get 1 point-----is this for a tier credit or a reward credit or both?
It's for both.
I was at Showboat on the 23rd & 24th and the countdown on the full pay machine was 5000. That's $250 per point. The countdown on the other VP machines was 750 which is $37.50 per point. I play the 9/6 Jacks, and 8/5 Bonus on the full pay machines. The other games I play are Triple Play AC Joker (chasing the pie in the sky 5 aces dealt) and single line double joker.

I guess I will have to figure out a way to evaluate the worth of my tier credits compared to the potential payback of the full pay machine.

Another note - Bally's has stripped a lot of their VP. The Triple Play full pay bonus, progressives have been moved and half of them are gone. Also, they will no longer be progressive as of 1/5/14. I also could no longer find any dollar 9/6 Jacks or 8/5 Bonus. They put in new dollar machines, but the paybacks were cut.

Not looking good for VP in AC.

Will this happen at other locations?

Was in AC over the weekend (Jan 17-19).

Didn't notice a change in the countdown meters, but then again not much full play VP at Caesars. Their poker room is closed now, understand the hourly tier points were cut in half.

Ballys floor remodeling about 2/3rd's completed and looking nice. However, most of the good old machines are gone. Some VP remains in the old Park Place area near the stairs to High Limits. Looks like the new VP area will be front left as you enter from the Boardwalk.

Sorry we missed you Blade. We'll be there next weekend. I'll check it out thanks for the heads up on where the VP will be.
