Casinos Closed Due to Blizzard

Due to the blizzard of 2011 in the Chicagoland area these casinos were closing their doors.

On Tuesday 2/1/11 at 6:00pm Hollywood Aurora and Joliet were closing their doors until Thursday 2/3/11 at 8:30am. Harrah's Joliet was closing at 10:00 pm and reopening today 2/2/11 at 3:00pm.

Horseshoe Hammond was also closed.
Horseshoe Hammond closed at 5 pm Tuesday, so their employees/guests could get home safely. They reopened today at 10 am.

I guess the safety concerns were no longer valid as the entire area was still experiencing snow until about 1 pm, a bit earlier in downtown Chicago. IN streets were shut down due to lake effect snow.
