Checked it out for the first time last weekend.
It's excellent. Probably one of the top five buffets I've been to including those in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
For those who remember the creepy old buffet at the casino, I can't even begin to explain the massive improvement. It's airy, easy to navigate, excellent selection of cuisines and stations (Asian, Italian, Comfort Food, Barbecue, Seafood, Mexican and, of course, Dessert) and all of it very good quality stuff.
They will make you crepes at the dessert station (slightly different than the ones at Paris' buffet - these are cooked in a skillet rather than a crepe stone), which is a cool upgrade, and everyone there is insanely nice. And I say that as someone with New York blood who prefers her attitudes sharp and to-the-point, but I admit to being charmed by the staff's Southern friendliness.
Oddly, they are only open for dinner during the week (perhaps this will be true only in the quieter season?) and have the addition of brunch on Sat-Sun. It was fairly empty on the Friday night I visited at 7 p.m. and I wonder if the $23.95 price is too steep for that market? But those who might balk at the price need to realize they're paying for high quality food in a chic, comfortable setting. As much as I love the new food court that opened there last fall, I'd gladly shell out $24 instead of the $12 it cost me for a lukewarm Uno's Pizza and drink.
Anyway, all of this rambling to say...highly recommended!
