Cherokee Diamond Lounge changes

Stopped by the other day and I'm not happy with the changes.
No longer called the Seven Sisters Lounge, they have done away with the buffet and now you order items from a very limited menu. Hours have also been cut, they now close at 10 PM during the week and midnight on the weekends.
Biggest problem is now that you have to order food and wait for it to be prepared, they can't handle the amount of people and it's 30-60+ minute wait to get in now.
Also, the last food orders are taken 30 minutes before closing.
Most everyone I talked to did not like the change and complained to the hostess, but she said it was a corporate level decision.
Gamboozler. I was there Wednesday and my biggest complaint besides the limited menu is there is no deserts. To be fair my order was filled pretty fast but the place was half full. It just seemed Diamond doesn't mean as much anymore. They used to have free USA TODAY free at the front desk but now you have to pay for them unless you are seven stars. They don't have special seating at the Buffet or Paula Deans. It will probably get worse when live table games start in April.
Where is it located at now? Doesn't sound like worth visiting, never did go to the temporary banquet room location in the hotel as line was too long and slow.

New Chef Buffet does have a Diamond line and seating is tucked away on the left front side, VIP cashier gets you checked in fast too. Nice area but the other side of the half-wall is the walkway around the buffet to the casino entrance and parking garage. You don't hear the noisy but do feel a vibration at your table sometimes, guess the heavy rollers are on their way to the casino...LOL.
We stopped into the diamond lounge last weekend...it was still located on the 2nd level of the hotel in a converted meeting room...but understand it will soon be relocated to the casino floor where the Seven Sisters restaurant used to be (and the diamond loung was before it moved to the hotel during construction). am anxious to see what changes are in store for food/seating.

We were glad to see the buffet go...the food was not good - most of it was just dumped out of cans and heated - it sat under those buffet lights and was not appetizing at all. Ok with the limited bar menu they now have but the quality of it needs improving. We had the chef's special appetizer (crab dip w/pita chips)...Sat. crab dip was cold and pita chips were stale. Sun. dip was served warm and we asked for crackers instead of pita. Sat. soup with veg. beef and it was pretty good. Sun. Cream of turkey was awful. Sat. I had a salad that sounded good on the menu but was dreadful. my husband had the prime rib sandwich au jus - was ok. Sun. we both had meatball sandwich - i ate the meatballs with a fork.

Love the casual seating groupings with sofas and chairs. That's the way Diamond Lounges used to be - casual groupings for conversation and beverags and appetizers. Gave you a chance to relax from gambling stress and noise of casino. Catch up on golf, racing, or sports scores. Have a few drinks with friends. I do like the "special drink prices" in the diamond lounge, but my husband drinks bourbon and they do not offer any bourbon drinks on the reduced bev. menu.

Offering the limited bar menu is a good idea but it could be improved on what they offer now. Harrah's Ak Chin has the best concept.. limited bar menu that includes: sliders, wings, hot chips, etc.. although their diamond lounge is their breakfast/lunch restaurant during the daytime - so no casual seating areas.
