Cherokee casinos cut deal to add games

Not surprised. There had to be an indication on Harrahs/Cherokee part that this was coming. They are putting millions and millions of dollars into expanding the Cherokee casino, starting with the new rooms tower, adding top restaurants and a food court, doubling the casino size, adding a spa and the new venue for entertainment is amazing.

My husband and I said when these vast expansions and renovations started that the managment had to know that live table gaming was going to be approved in the near future.

This is good news. It is suppose to open up other Live table games like Craps and Roulette. Casino continues to expand... place is a real maze right now while the floor is being redesigned. New buffet upstairs is open with some kinks. Looks nice but same food in smaller portions. Much better desert selection.

Does anyone have any updates on this?

According to employees I talked to sometime in April.

Was there over the weekend (2/26).... also hearing sometime in the spring. Construction on the floor still going on but more areas being opened up. Looks like the old main entrance with lightning blot neon down the center is just about finished, still covered but you can see between the seams. Maybe they're planning on installing normal tables once they get the floor finished.
