With the Trop AC pulling their buffet coupon from the 2016 ACG, I started thinking about the coupon drop off in Atlantic City over the last ten years or so. I was looking to book a trip in mid February, went to my trusty AC envelope, and noticed how thin it had gotten. When I first started taking multiple trips per year, about ten years ago, many hotels would give you coupon sheets when you checked in. Then there was a few decent restaurant.com options there, as well as a small handful of ACG coupons. Now I have just about zero worthwhile coupons. It's a little depressing how far the drop off has been. I'm obviously not a marketing expert, but with AC on such a steep decline, shouldn't the few remaining Casinos be attempting to lure customers into the building??
