Florida Casino Recommendations

The winter storms are finally getting to me.
I would like to get some recommendations for casinos in Florida.

I would be flying into:

Ft Lauderdale or West Palm is first choice
Miami second choice

Anywhere else close to a major airport third choice.

Should have the major table games and a decent hotel.

Do not like anyplace too smokey or catering to the under 35 crowd.

Any suggestions are appreciated
I'm not an expert but I can share with you what I saw this past year in the Lauderdale area.

I went to three Casinos

Seminole Hard Rock - Has all the major table games exept maybe Roulette. Probably your best bet with your criteria.

The other two are Racinos - They have all the Major Slots, No Table Games except for Virtual Games, They have Poker Rooms.

Mardi Gras - This is a Dog Track
Gulfstream - This is a Horse Track

Mandinga

The only 2 casinos I would go out of my way for in Florida are the Hard Rocks....one is in Hollywood and the other one is in St Pete. So do you like the Atlantic or Gulf Coast? These offer a full Vegas-type experience minus the sports betting and free drinks. Video Poker is decent (8/5 Bonus Poker) and food options are good.

Avoid the day-cruise gambling ships like the plague...and the Class-II Indian casinos in the swampland aren't much better.

Thanks

BTW How are these places on comps?
Room rates looked a bit pricey.

I dont play enough at either place to speak intelligently about their comps. I also dont stay at those hotels. I only play at them when I visit my parents down there. I stay at their house and just do the day-trip thing to the casinos.
A know, a bit in a different direction.
But, have you considered Puerto Rico? All casinos are now non-smoking, and there is 'decent' table action.
I 'hate' the uncertainty of South Florida weather in December and January. Could be 80, or it could be 45F. Puerto Rico is always 80F! Another plus is no passport necessary, and lots of nonstop flights from cities in the northeast.
Just returned from a wonderful Christmas trip (December 25th to 29th) to San Juan.
Thanks for the recomendations.
I am going to try these out.
