Foxwoods Grand Pequot Renovated rooms.

I see on the website that Grand Pequote tower has renovated rooms.
They look nice, but relatively expensive. Has anyone here stayed in these rooms?
What did you think compared to the old rooms. I have stayed at the MGM Grand, but the Grand Pequot would be the better location and hopefully quieter. Planning mid week trips in May and June,

Any opinions/comments appreciated.
I stayed in a renovated room last weekend. It was very nicely done. The room had 2 queens and I particularly liked the end table between the beds - which I assume a king would also have. The table had 4 outlets in it for charging phones, ipads, etc. and had a motion sensor night light at the bottom which was
very nice when getting up in the middle of the night and when approaching the bed before retiring.

I also like MGM Grand - now the Fox Tower - I have never found it to be particularly noisy, but agree the Pequot location is a much better location.
I've recently stayed in a Renovated GP Room, and except for upgraded bedding and rugs, I didn't think there was much difference from the "old" rooms. I usually ask for a high floor-woods view room, so there is never any noise issue. The Fox Tower and Great Cedar rooms are also really nice -- with the GC in a central location as well. Since you are staying mid-week, if you haven't already done so, you should check your on-line player's card promotions, and see if there's a discounted room rate listed for the days you want to stay. Usually there are free or heavily discounted rates mid-week. Have fun!
I was at Foxwoods in April. I have been to all 4 hotels there. The most recent visit was the Great Cedar. Honestly this is by far the most centralized hotel. Short walk to Rainmaker, Great Cedar and Pequot casino's. We did Two Trees once and honestly, I don't want to "get on a shuttle" so we never went back there. All the rooms are good. The cedar being the older of the big three. They are clean and sufficient. Just ask for one closer to an elevator. The corridors are LONG. If you are looking for new, then go to the Fox tower. Those are by far the newest of all of them. Have fun!
