Foxwoods Question

Hi - first time going to Foxwoods - I hear there are a number of casinos at that complex - are they all connected so you do not have to go outside OR are there separate buildings for some of the casinos.

Thanks for your help......

Yes they are all (in one way or another) kind of connected via indoors.
There is also about 1/4 mile walkway that connects Foxwoods to the MGM at Foxwoods.

Try Mohegan Sun while you're in the area. It's about 13 minutes away.
I find it nicer, and the stores much better.
I think that it's more like a Vegas casino than Foxwoods is.

Any more questions, please feel free to PM me.

Rock'nRick I agree about Mohegan Sun definitely more of a vegas feel. I have not been to MGM but if you play video poker Mohegan Sun is much much better with 8-5 BP and full pay Pickem as well as 9-6 JOB. Foxwoods has none of those.
My wife and I go to Foxwoods about every other month. We go to Foxwoods for bingo and table games. Then we drive over to Mohegan to play video poker. Since I find the video poker selection at Mohegan better than Foxwoods also.

Newbies find Foxwoods to be very confusing and hard to find people. It has many separate areas to visit and MGM is a long walk from Foxwoods via an inside hallway, or you can take a shuttle bus over to it. I find Mohegan Sun to be the place where I win more often. Have a great time and win something.
While I haven't been to the MGM casino, the Foxwoods casinos remind me of Wal-mart. I would recommend Mohegan Sun over Foxwoods too.
I used to have Mohegan Sun as my main Casino. They are very tight with their comps over the last couple of years. I get treated much better at foxwoods. Foxwoods seems to appreciate my play. I have never been invited to dinner with my host at Mohegan Sun. My host at Foxwoods takes me to dinner and sees to all my needs every time. Mohegan Sun gave me a new host and didn't even bother to let me know. I found out my old host was laid off when a new host was posted to my account. I was at the hightest level of slot card at Mohegan Sun. I will play at Foxwoods as long as they treat me as well as they do at this time. Also I have never had a host come over to me at Mohegan Sun while I was playiing and offer to help me with what ever I needed like at Foxwoods. foxwoods offers more of everything even another property with the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
The MGM Grand at Foxwoods is an upgrade from the other casinos at Foxwoods - games, bars, spa, shopping, rooms. At both MGM and Foxwoods, I find that the employees act as if they are really happy you're there, and the comps keep coming (I am not a high-roller by any means) but I get deep room discounts, free slot play, invites for give-aways and tickets to some shows. No big wins, though!
I think that Mohegan is running a deal if you are a new player and show them an AC players club card they will give you $100 in free play.
Flip,
Thank you for the information! Was thinking of making the drive next week anyway, especially so if they are offering $100 FP. Doing a training class near Providence and the FP would really make one of my evenings! I have never been to either of the above, so have been lurking on the boards trying to get more info.

Thank's again!
