A friend of mine wins $25,000 at the Soaring Eagle

A friend of mine and I rode our Harleys to the Soaring Eagle last night. We weren't in the Casino more than 15 minutes and he won $25,000 on a $5 machine. It was pretty exciting.

Good for him.I've never had much luck there.

We go to the Soaring Eagle at least 5 or 6 times a year and in the past 12 years, I can honestly say that I have only seen him lose maybe 3 or 4 times. He won $2,400 on the same machine last October. When they came and verified the machine, we heard them say that the last time that the machine paid out the max Jackpot was in 2009. He's done playing that machine for awhile. LOL

We went to the Soaring Eagle again last Friday night and we saw three hand pays right when we got there. I can't tell you the last time I saw a Hand Pay in Vegas.

Last time in Vegas I saw 2 wild hand pays at Palms within minutes- A dealt royal in hearts on a 5-play $5.00 machine. The lady just started playing the next machine while she was waiting.. and she waited a darn long time while they verified that win.

Great luck for your friend. We hit Soaring Eagle a few times a year, their sister casino Saganing Eagle is much closer to home.

Besides being a beautiful casino, they seem to be more giving.
