a good night at Indiana Grand

i am leaving for Vegas on march 30th. so, for warm ups, I went to the Grand last week. it was on a weeknight. I played a penny quick hits (vegas themed), I hit 6 quick hits for $100 and some other smaller wins. so far so good. my $1 wheel of fortune was occupied, so I moved to another penny quick hits (cash spin $2 max coin). I played on that machine for nearly 2 hours, that is a record for me for sure. I kept getting the free 12 games and then getting the cash spins, and the cash spins within the free games and more spins and more free games. it went on and on and on. I didn't catch very many quick hits, but still i finished up +$300.00. went to my $1 WOF machine and I was getting bonus spins but the lousy ones like $25 or $30 -- the lowest on the wheel. and then finally it came: $1000 on my bonus spin!! on my next bonus spin I hit $400!! I was very pleased, it has been a while since I hit anything like that. on my way out I played the $5 WOF and gave back $300 :-( . I cant complain, I brought most of it home with me and I hope that is a sign of things to come in Vegas in a couple of days.
NIce hits. I haven't been there in a while. The last few times I went it seemed like they didn't get any new inventory of machines....and everything seemed tighter. How is the buffet these days?

I've been driving the extra hour to Lawrenceberg so I can play at their $5 craps tables and slightly better VP. But I'm glad you got some nice winnings at the Grand.
I like the Grand also better video poker than Hoosier Park. However I really like to play Mississippi Stud and since the Racinos have no live table games we go to Rising Star on occasion. It looks like the Grand buffet is much improved as the construction appears to be over.
I have not had the buffet since the remodel, but I would like to. for many years Argosy/Hollywood in Lawrenceburg was my favorite casino in Indiana. I really had some good times there and good memories.

so, I went to the Grand on Memorial Day, arrived too late for the buffet :-( . I had $17 in free slot play. I chose a cash spin -quick hits machine (I think). I quickly turned that into $153. I have never had such good luck on free play. I stayed on that machine for nearly 2 hours. I then took a break and sat with some friends at the bar for a while. it was now time to go find my $1 WOF machine. on my first bonus spin I hit $500!! overall I walked out of the casino ahead about $600. It was a great way to wrap up the holiday weekend. we didn't get home until sometime after 5 a.m. an employee told us that they may soon be building a hotel there. I wish they would, but then again that may be the demise of me and many others.
How fun. Congratulations!
Wow, nice wins.
