The Great Race to Rewards at Harrahs Chester

Does anyone know if Harrahs Casino at Chester has a Kiosk set up to swipe for entries into The Great Race promotion or must you go to the TR Desk and have them swipe your card?

I plan on travelling over from our AC trip next month but don't want to bring the spouse along if I can just swipe her card and play a little before returning to AC.

no kiosk at harrahs chester as of a week ago----need to go to the tr desk-----however was able to give them my wife and my card to process without id-----would not count on not being present or not showing id----i was the 1st to inquire ,they took my info and called back 2 hrs later to say we were now in the system for the promo---

You don't need to swipe at any casino. You can enter online by playing at Play Total Rewards. Once entered, you are then qualified for the great race to rewards without swiping. So you can do this before your trip.

Then, you qualify at each location by earning one point. You do not have to swipe at each casino to earn credit for the promotion. You need to earn one point.

Quick question. I was in Las Vegas at the start of July, but I didn't know this program was taking place. I did earn tier credits at many Caesars properties. I opted in on-line afterwards when I got home. Should I bother earning some points at Harrahs Chester and make a stop there on the way to Atlantic City, or is there no point since my activity in Las Vegas may not count? Is there anyone I can contact at Total Rewards who could help?

As I understand the promotion, one needs to earn at least 1 point in 3 different markets. Las Vegas is one market, AC is another and I believe Chest is a third. There's a thread on the Harrahs board that lists the rules and the different markets. You can always email total rewards through their website.

We were at Harrahs Chester this past weekend and there is a kiosk there. If you go to the Total Rewards desk and go to the left, you will see it.

I was just confused with the apparent conflict in the rules for this promotion. The mailed information I received indicated that you must "swipe your card at each location" to qualify for a visit to the location but information posted by others indicated there is only a need to "opt in" one time and that could be on line.

I realize that you must swipe your card to show earning the points for play so swiping again at a kiosk just appears redundant but rules are rules I suppose.

We are hoping to max out the promotion opportunity and hope there are no unpleasant surprises when we (as I am sure there are others) check our balance at the end of the promotion.

Any way to check status? Just sayin, it would be a nice feature.....
