Harrahs Atlantic City

I may go with a junket to Harrahs next month and would appreciate help on what rooms to try to get. I am a Diamond. Thanks in advance
HI YOU will want either the waterfront or the bayview tower. The rooms are of similar quality.Waterfront has flat screen tvs while the bathrooms in Bayview are a little nicer. but both very nice rooms and im a room snob.

If your junket is run like the one we have gone on 2 times. You request the kind of room you want ,non-smoking,2 beds, etc. When you arrive your room will be assinged to you. Check the room out and if ok that's it. If the room is not what you wanted then call the front desk right away so your luggage goes to the right room.
Good Luck Always,

Harrah's doesn't really have any bad rooms, but some are better than others.

If I had to choose one, I'd pick the Bayview Tower, but the Waterfront Tower rooms are pretty nice. I'll try to highlight the differences between the two towers that most people favor.

WATERFRONT TOWER
PROS = comfortable, recently newest rooms, flat screen TVs
CONS = no bath (just shower), proximity to Pool nightclub (and this may be a good thing for some, but it can be noisy on weekends when people are stumbling back to their rooms)

BAYVIEW TOWER
PROS = large bathtub
CONS = no flat screen TV

I'll leave one last caveat. Both the Harbor and Bayview Tower are a little ways from the casino. Some people like that, but if you want a room closer to the casino, then you'll want to be in one of the other towers. Also, if being in a quieter place, away from the nightclub crowd is important to you, then you'll also want to avoid the Waterfront or Bayview Towers. If you can get into an Atrium Suite, then that is a reasonably comfortable room, with a separate sitting area. Those rooms aren't bad, either.

I have pictures of most standard room types at Harrah's posted here:

Which tower is close to Diamond Check in, elevators right around the corner? Two years ago, I had one of the rooms with the dark hardwood floors that was very nice.
We just went on a junket and were given a room in the Marina Tower, which is centrally located and close to check-in. We could have had a room in a different tower listed above if we wanted to wait, but we did not.

It was in the older part of the property, but clean and comfortable. Pillows were outstanding! The only drawback is that we had a room with the advertising banner over the window so our view was blurry(?).

This place is huge!

Thanks everyone for the info. I don't mind walking and like quiet so will try for Waterfront or Bayview .
You can't go wrong w/ either but I saw a Bayside room and it was swanky as all heck!

The sounds like a Marina Tower "Luxury" room. Did it look like this: http://eclva.blogspot.com/2008/10/harrahs-atlantic-city-marina-tower.html
Yes.
