Harrah's Resort AC - Trip Comments

Glad you had a good time and WTG on your royal. I love Harrahs casino in AC, we always have a great time there. I am lowly gold card, but still get room offers. We just do not live close enough to a Harrahs property for me to ever reach diamond status, which is a shame, as I visit casinos weekly.

We head to Vegas for our annual trip to mecca in 5 weeks. Last night I was at Foxwoods - haven't been in ages - too crowded, too many 20 somethings not holding their liquor. Came home with a slight win, and I am glad I went, but not in a hurry to go back.
I felt the same way about Foxwoods when I visited there a few years ago. Way too crowded and really bad VP schedules. I think I put thru $20 and we left.
Took advantage of the tier bonuses to lock in my Diamond for next year. I have 20K tier points this year and 11K were from tier bonuses.
The pool is great at Harrahs, if you like to drink and look outside, by far, Caesars or Ballys Diamond lounges are for you. I really do not like Harrahs Diamond lounge unless you are there just for the food. Very few points on full-pay VP now.
I'm going to Harrah's AC for the first time in my 36 years! Got a great Detroit to AC junket offer and it was good anytime in May...my birthday is the day after Memorial Day...so I thought "What the heck, give them a call and see"....sure enough, I was able to get Fri-Mon of Memorial Day weekend flight & air junket for the wife and I! Thanks CET for a great 37th birthday vacation! I like free!

Likewise, thank you everyone for this post. I have no idea what to expect with AC or Harrah's. It sounds like it's not the LV Strip where we can walk from casino to casino? A few folks mentioned the Harrah's shuttle to Caesar's & Ballys.

We did a junket to Harrahs AC over the 1st weekend in May. Normally junket to Caesars every few months but wanted to try something different.

Been over a year since visiting Harrahs. Stayed in those same atrium Jr. suites, rooms starting to look warn but still right off the casino floor with elevators at High Limits.

Junket transportation and special check-in does save time.

Watch those advantage play VP machines... you will see a label right where you insert your card with something like: "$25:1 point"

Good to see the new TR card readers with your personal information and drink ordering, Caesars finally in process of installing on their mahcines.

We paid a $13 taxi to get to Caesars. Played there and Ballys next door.... normally junkets don't care if you play at other co-owned casinos as long as you "dance with the one who brought you".

Hey asnyder: You can also walk or taxi next door to the Borgota
