I know you're gonna be there for the Cavs on the 20th. I'd like to meet you then. Maybe some other locals might want to meet as well. Hubby and I are both diamond. I also have gotten passes from our host.
Sounds good. Problem may be that my better half now wants us to stay at the hotel (Laquinta Inn -airport) with the rest of the crew. Most of our kids and their friends are over 21 but kids will be kids. She thinks with all the X-box and playstation going on in 2 of the rooms that things could get sort of loud.
I did find out yeterday from my Cavs rep that if we park at the Horsehoe (approx 2 blocks away from Quicken loans??) that parking is free (If a gamble a bit...thats a tough 1!!! ). I'm gonna hold onto my comped room at the Ritz until its definite that her mind wont change!!
Any idea how far the Laquinta @ 4222 W. 150 st is from the casino/ Quicken Loans??? I may have to sneak out after we return from the game (In my rented 15 passenger van) and journey down to the Horseshoe!!!
Barring traffic, should be about a 15 minute drive down I-71. Just beware of the famous Linndale speed trap. I just read that the governor signed a bill to end that speed trap after March 22, so I'm sure they will be pounding it right up until then. It's just east of the W. 130th St. exit.
