AC May 18-20 Trip Report
Great pictures, way to hit that ROYAL!!!!
Nice report, thanks! Wheres the .25 9/6 JoB at Resorts? I was there in Dec and Feb and looked where vpfree told me and couldn't find it. I'll be up there for two comped nights next month and would love to play it there since they've been good to me.
Hey Now!
it's the last machine on the last row of .25/.50 machines near the 25 hour bar. Between the progressive draw poker sign and a group of $1 machines.

Nice...I think I might have to play resorts more. Loved your TR Thanks for taking the time
Hey Now!
quick follow up .. I ended up sending a letter to Dennis Gomez about the room snauf(s). Got a phone call on Wed. from Anne Hynes, ex.asst. to Dennis and she said she talked to the supervisor and was very sorry about my problems and offered for me to call her personally and she would take care of my wife and I on our next trip. We weren't planning on another AC trip till Oct. or Nov., but the phone call along with the follow up email sounds like a sure thing..Stay tuned for details!
Hey Now!
I meant to say I sent the letter to Aaron Gomes..Dennis was Aaron's father who passed away in March.
Hey Now!
Anne hooked us up with an upgraded room July 20-22....
RB,

Enjoyed your TR. The pictures add so much. I noticed you started with what appears to be the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. As I am a Hampton, VA native, I am curious as to where your trip began?

I have made the same trip to AC a couple of times after visits to VA. I always enjoy the ferry ride.

Back in my youth, we used to take the ferry from Norfolk to the Eastern Shore. It was a 2 hour ride and we would have breakfast in the restaurant on the ferry. This would save about 90 miles of driving on a trip to New York City. However, it didn't save you any time.

The ferry from Lewes to Cape May has become so expensive that I took the longer drive to Atlantic City on my last trip from VA. The cost of gas was less than the ferry fare.

Hey Now!
We live in Gloucester, it is a bit longer to go the ES route, but we like it. The ferry ride is still pretty cheap off season, we used to got the 6 pack of tickets, but they went up. I like to crash on the ferry on the way. From the house to the ferry is about 4 hours, we leave early to beat the tunnel traffic...
