Hoosier Park Video Poker

Hoosier Park (Anderson, Indiana) has installed Game Kings with a progressive royal flush at quarters. While some of the games are bogus such as Bonus Poker that pays even money for two pair, the DDB is outstanding but it will not last long I am sure. The Game King DDB is 9/6 and last night the royal was in the $2600 area. That is a return of about 103%. Since the rest of the DDB on the non-progressive royal machines is 8/5 I am sure that some slot supervisor who does not understand VP was responsible for the current set-up. Get out there and play this while you can because this type of VP will not last long. It is hard enough to find 9/6 DDB in Indiana let alone 9/6 with a progressive royal flush. I would be going back today if Purdue and IU were not scheduled to play BB this afternoon.

Good find. I was considering going to Horseshoe Southern INdiana next weekend...but Hoosier Park is a shorter drive.

Seems like VP comes and goes. They used to have some decent games at both Hoosier Park and Indiana Live but they've pulled the plug on most of them. Lets hope this one stays around awhile

The DDB is now 8/5 on the $.25 progressives just as it is on all the other machines at HP. As I suspected it did not take long for one of the suits to catch that mistake. In fact they might have read my 2/19 post.
