Horseshoe Elizabeth or Harrahs Metropolis?

I am planning my trip for the Race for Rewards. I have an extra day I can stay and I was thinking to add it to Elizabeth or Metropolis . Tentative leaving the middle of July

Cleveland OH on the way to visit friends
Horsehoe Elizabeth 1 or 2 nights driving 4.25 hr
Harrahs Metropolis 1 or 2 nights driving 4 hrs
Tunica 3 nights driving 4 hrs
Biloxi 2 nights driving 6 hrs
Then a long day driving to FL. driving 8 hrs

If I decide to do LV in September that gives me 15 if I don't then I will make a quick day run to NOLA. I was going to stop in at St. Louis but the rooms were 80 and so decided to skip it. All the rooms are comped except 44 for Tunica on the weekend.

Any help or advise is appreciated.
thanks
I have been to Southern Indiana. It has a very large riverboat and a very nice hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere, across the river from Louisville.
They have a Paula Dean buffet, a small diner, Gaetner's ice cream and a restaurant/bar open weekends.

I used them in last year's race and will do it again this summer.

I stayed at Horseshoe Indiana one night a few weeks ago. Hotel rooms are decent. A bit worn but quite and comfortable. No complaints.

Stayed mid-week and the casino was quiet too. Plenty of room to move around. As others have said it's large for a river boat.

Only ate in the Diamond Lounge and on the road the next morning before breakfast so I can't comment on the restaurants.

I would go back if in the area again.
