Where is Jackie "the Jokeman" Martling???

'take my wife, please' will be mumbled by a comic that night, in remembrance of henny.
Seriously, the aging comics of america have a place to play, whether it's rich little at the riv, or the resorts lineup here. I wish I could make it. Maybe noahcat will honor us with a few bon mots. I saw brenner during his LVH run, when he was working off cards, and had his two boys come up and deliver a little one liner magic. Soon after that... too bad for the brenners. Life goes on. Good Luck!

well I do see your point.
I have very fond memories of Red Skelton on TV
"Goodnight and God Bless"
Bob Hope/ Buddy Hacket on many Johnny Carson shows

and Don Rickles is what? 88
seen Don Rickles at Golden Nugget a few years ago. He was great. The humor had everyone of all ages laughing. Now wished I had seen more of his shows when we were going to vegas all the time. Just like when we went to se wayne newton my husband said what? but I wanted to experience wayne it was the Christmas show and the hard rocker he is, really enjoyed it. Mostly the orchestra band music. You got to get out of your "box" in life and try new experiences to have a life to talk about. Next trip when ever that can be, I want to see Santana if they are still playing when we go.
noachat, Last week an artickle was in the paper here about Resorts at Atlantic City, is the place a dump do you know? Is it on the boardwalk or more off it? Walkable distance to the Boardwalk? May go there this summer..AC. thanks for any input What casino would you compare it to in Vegas?
It is right on the Boardwalk and the new CEO is doing his bast to jazz the place up...
Hmmm-- closest to a Vegas place mmmmmm crowde-der lower ceiling Palace Station but less barn-like- Resorts is doing a take off on Boardwalk Empire (HBO show) and so it's roaring twenties themed, prohibition price specials, etc....
It's next to Taj Mahal and by Showboat
thanks for info
