How to get to Atlantic City?

Have been trying to figure out a good way to get there from the Midwest. Is spirit the only airline that flys there? No wonder AC has economy problems. What would be suggestions (other than renting a car) to get to AC? Would probably fly from Kansas City or St Louis. Also what are the policies on Harrahs Diamond lounges now? Have heard they deduct credits for entry.
The DL's only deduct if your TR score is less than 25,000 for last year & the amount they deduct is 1,000 ($10). Even with a $10 deduction, the food & drink is well worth the deduction.
AC DL's are not the chips & dip crap served in Vegas or other DL's. They serve a full meal, soup to dessert.
And, yes the only airline flying into AC is Spirit. The option is fly to PHL & rent a car. It's about a one hour drive from the airport.
Thanks for the info. Will do some research on air into Philly.
You can also take the train from Philly to AC. Take the train from the airport to 30th Street Station, then the Atlantic City train to AC. I'm pretty sure the #3 Jitney goes from AC train station to Harrahs at the Marina. The train station is fairly close to Caesars and Bally's. Properties may or may not have shuttle service from AC train station to their properties.
