indiana grand

went to the grand Friday night march 27th for the first time in almost a year. saw juice newton, (I've always been a fan). hit some nice wins: $500 on WOF, $640 ON WOF, $271 on Quick Hits. brought most of it home. the place did not seem nearly as busy as it normally is on fri and sat nights. I have had several good wins there years ago, but quit going after several losing trips. not just losing, but skinned alive! I would love to hear others views, likes / dislikes about this casino.
Can you tell me if you remember seeing a Hyper Bonus Poker machine? VpFree shows there is one.
Thanks for your time.
I don't usually pay attention to the vp machines. although, I wish I was an AP vp player.
I used to go 5-6 times a year. but then it went downhill - really downhill. No new machines...tighter machines.....crappy promotions....and the buffet sucks.

Living in Indianapolis I find its worthwhile to drive the extra hour and go to Lawrenceberg Hollywood. They have real tables there (craps is only $5) and full pay VP. Give them a couple hundred bucks and you'll get some free rooms in their really nice hotel. So I cant find a good reason to play at Indiana Grand aside from it being closer...and being closer aint good enough

I agree with pfstroh. We live in Indy but only go to Grand for an occasional look at the horse races. We usually drive to Rising Star for an overnight stay to play VP and Mississippi Stud. Horseshoe Southern Indiana used to have the best VP in the State but one day a year or so ago it was all downgraded to bad pay schedules so we no longer make that drive. The Indiana Legislature almost approved table games for Indiana Grand and Hoosier Park during recent session but since Governor Pence considered that to be an escalation of gambling i did not make it to his desk. Hard to understand the escalation position since they have electronic table games at the Racinos so all they would be doing is giving jobs to new dealers. Oh well politics at its finest.
Sorry, pjstroh and fingerstim, Hollywood downgraded their VP schedule on the progressive. You can go in there and the other VP games are being played, but not a person to be found since they down graded it. Really, do they think we are stupid? Just NOT going to do it.
is it just me...or everyone? it seems like centaur / Indiana grand rewards me with next to nothing for my play. I have sunk a lot of cash into the $1 and $5 WOF machines. and the machine appears to be reading my players card.
