Little Help? First Time to AC

Charlie,

The Borgata always had the most 9/6 JoB machines, but I think that they may have downgraded a lot of them. But I haven't been there in a while.
The AC Hilton recently opened a full pay VP area, but I haven't checked it out yet. Hopefully, someone else can chime in on that. The Hilton is sort of secluded at the southern end of the Boardwalk.
Trump Plaza has some 25c 9/6 JoB, at least one 8/5 BP, and a decent amount of 9/6 DDB.
Resorts has tons of 25c 8/5 BP and I think a couple of 9/6 JoB machines that you have to hunt down.
Harrah's has a few multi-denom machines that are full pay, but you might have trouble getting on one of them.
Caesar's has a 25c 9/6 JoB progressive.
Bally's has a bank of triple play 8/5 BP progressives.
The Showboat has a few 25c 9/6 JoB and 8/5 BP.
The Tropicana is supposed to have JWD machines and a JW5 machine.

At the 25c level, I think that Trump Plaza and Resorts are the better plays. (Resorts is pretty generous with comps right now.) However, a lot of the ECLVAers tend to play at the CET properties.

Feel free to PM me or ask questions here.
Thanks for the info Flip. I knew you had a wealth of info on AC. Not real crazy about going there but 800 plan tickets to LV are out of the question.

Kathy teaches school so we are stuck with certain dates in April. Come this June she is retiring and we will be able to go when we want at reasonable prices.

We're headed down the 9th to 11th in April. Staying at Trump Plaza. (I've got a great host there!) We drive down from Malden MA and it takes us about 6 to 6 1/2 hours to drive down. Spirit Air offers some cheap flights out of Boston to AC, but it seems cheaper most of the time to drive down.
S & S Tours runs a lot of junkets from Boston to AC for the CET properties:

Flip,

I have a feeling that there might not be a lot of money to be made from AC info, but who knows? With the internet, people can find a lot of info for free, but some folks will still buy a book or a DVD so they don't have to search on line. Of course, if you start selling your info, I hope you don't stop providing free info for we cheapskates.

I don't think Jean Scott had any thoughts of huge profits when she started clipping coupons and finding deals in the casinos. But look what happened!

Ned in NYC

Hilton downgraded all of their 9/6 JOB to 8/5. Plenty of machines available though. And drinks are not complimentary at Tropicana's Rumba Bar...I learned the hard way.
Both Trymp Plaza and Borgata gives me 45 coins for a full house- where all HET properties give me 35.

I am into volatile games like STP/DDB
Noahcat: Happy to be a sponsor. After reading your numerous posts I do picture you walking in heels. Good luck with the walk.
