Lucky day at Caesar's Windsor

This past Saturday they had a drawing at 7, 8, and 9 pm for their backyard barbecue giveaway. I was lucky enough to have my name called at the 9pm drawing. I thought I had won a barbecue and some patio furniture but to my surprise I was given a choice: $1500 Canadian or $2500 in Sears gift cards. What should I do? I figured I would end up blowing the Canadian bucks there so I took the Sears cards back home to Michigan with me. I also did not feel like giving up a $1000 in value. First time I have ever won anything in a drawing. As far as the gambling went I lost $400 over the weekend, so not a bad deal.

Cool to hear they offered an alternative for the prize. We're from Ohio and wondered what would happen if one of us one.

Last spring we were there for a drawing were they gave away 5 $1,000 prizes every hour. We had been playing hard all day and had accumluated lots of extra drawing entires. I didn't win but my friend won twice in the same night in two seperate drawings. Two $1,000 wins! He had to complete a math problem in order to get the prize (Ontario, CA law). It was the same math problem both times so it only took him a few seconds to "solve" it the second time around. He took the money in U.S. and came home with it.

Did you have to solve a math problem? It was on the form he had to fill out with his name, address, etc.
