not bragging but....

Went to a free Facebook slot tourny at Firefkeepers in Battle Creek MI...2 minute continous play..husband got 48000 points..mine logged in at 171000...tourney atterndant said to stick around until 7pm when it was over. I came in first for 2000 free play on players card. We played it through on a .25 slot and walked out with 1760 cash. I don't think I have to pay taxes on it because they never asked for ss number for the tourney and cashed out when the .25 slot winnings reached 500. Cool, fun easy money. We only came with $100.00 to split between us and didn't expect to have to stay for 4 hours. But it lasted! Hotel should be open next year. Poker and bingo rooms. Buffett. Nice new and there slogan this year is Get Your Vegas On. Stop in there if ever in the area.
a facebook tourney... how many friends did you need to get all those points?
no friends emailed your players club card number to the link they posted on facebook, then respond on the wall, and if you were picked your name was posted and an email to confirm if you were going and with/without guest, was picked and did what needed to be done! tourny was at there casino in Battlecreek Mi about 148 miles from where I live.
Won't they have your SS number from your players club? However, I don't think that you'd get a 1099 when it's slot play and not cash - but I may be wrong. Also, you didn't have to cash out at $500. W2G's are generated when you hit a jackpot of $1,200 or more - not when you have $1,200 or more accumulated.

For players club card just had to show drivers license. Firekeepers is an Indian casino. A few more are opening up in the next 2 years and I think they are all Indian casinos. Only commercial casinos are MGM in Detroit and Cesears in Winsdor Ontario. I'ts expensive now to cross the bridge or take the tunnel to Canada from Detroit. About $6 one way plus passport or inhanced drivers license than the exchange to canadian money. Last time their for every $100 American to trade for Canadian we lost $4. Very nice and clean casino but very empty of people.
Congrats on a nice win!!!!
Very Nice Sundrop6

It's always nice to win, but so much nicer when it's on their money.
