Pointless Advertising?

I was checking out the website for the new Horseshoe Cincinnati Casino that is due to open on March 4 here in Cincinnati the other day and couldn't help but wonder why they were touting the fact that they are going to have $500 dollar slot machines and $50,000 limit Blackjack in the High Limit area of the casino.

Apparently someone forgot to tell them that this isn't Las Vegas or Monte Carlo. I just don't see a line building up to hit those $500 dollar machines any time soon. The Argosy right down the street in Indiana had two $100 dollar machines that sat idle 99% of the time or better and i know that for a fact because i worked there for almost 8 years.

Oh well. I guess it makes for nice ads.

Got a peek inside today and if they want to open in a month they better hurry!

Thanks for the info will have my private jet fueled and a few packs of $500 Bills in hand.... ready for a visit on March 4.

Is there a Skyline Chili parlor nearby?

Ha Ha really. There's probably one in town somewhere. If not i'll treat you at the one right down the street from me. Its maybe two blocks from home.

The casino is going to feature some top notch food outlets. There will be a Marguritaville Rest. (open air ) a Bobby Flay Burger Palace, Binions Steakehouse ( of course ) ,and what is supposedly a cut above buffet. All of these are to be over seen by a chef from Vegas whose name escapes me at the moment.

So save one of the $500 bills for dinner.


P.S. This thing is the newsies biggest deal in ages around here. Me. I'm just hoping the damn floor doesn't fall in again. For that reason, ill go down on day two.
