Premium Tower and Premium Rooms at Showboat

Has anyone stayed in a Premium room at Showboat? And, where is the Premium Tower? I haven't stayed in Showboat in a very long time; could someone please fill me in on how they liked the Premium room?

Thanks in advance!

Premium rooms are in the Bourbon Tower, which is more convenient to the casino, the boardwalk, and the restaurants than the Orleans Tower is. The corridors in the Bourbon Tower are shorter than in the Orleans Tower, which generally makes the rooms more convenient to the elevators and less noisy. Elevator service in the Bourbon Tower is usually better than in the Orleans Tower. Rooms in the Bourbon Tower are a bit smaller than those in the Orleans Tower rooms but they're otherwise similar. Given the choice, I'd choose the Bourbon Tower.
Thanks goldfada. Been a long time since I stayed at Showboat so I had no idea what they were talking about! It was just the nicest room we could get comped, so we took it!
Just got back from there tonight...was booked in a comped New Orleans room, but since it was pretty slow when we checked in Sunday night, the front desk clerk upped us to the Bourbon tower for free, which was very nice and very much appreciated.

Rooms are totally fine. Big flat screen, double sink, mini fridge. Some of the furniture is a little shabby looking, but bed and bedding were very comfortable.

I stay at Showboat almost every trip, usually in the Bourbon Tower. With the exception of location, there aren't any major differences in the rooms or amenities. The one constant, if it's important, is that the Bourbon rooms all get HDTV channels and the Orleans towers rooms just get plain old tv.

I always prefer the Bourbon Tower because my last stop each evening is at the bar right across from the Bourbon elevators. The bartenders know me and will watch for an open vp machine if the bar is full when I come around. Very nice staff there.
