Revel email May 5

Maybe they are getting the message over there. Maybe.

Todays email was reminder to sign up for a players card to start earning points... (for among other things)
complimentary (first time I have heard or seen that word used by Revel) rooms!!

For poker players, a special.

- Free parking if you play 4 hours
- Maximum house rake of $3 per hand on cash games.

Okay. They got my attention.
They e-mailed me an invite for Mothers Day- 3 different spa treatments for a set $99.00 price and a room package not worth my while yet.
not tempted at all
I was there yesterday afternoon, and the Revel was definitely getting its share of slot machine players
and basic table game action. They still had $5 tables, craps and BJ, to get players warmed up to the place.
I think that strategy will work. The craps tables only offer 3-4-5 odds which is really nothing special,
but if you are a non smoker, you will like this place.

I did see a serious Asain baccarat player that I know (easily $500 per hand avg. bet) playing .
I asked why he was playing here. He answered " believe it or not Professor, some of us want a no smoking casino. " Then he smiled and said he liked the female dealers better than at the Borgata or Taj.

I asked him if he was getting comps. He told me that when he opened his credit line ($100k plus)
they asked him if it would be ok to have someone contact him. I asked him if he would pay for a room there. He laughed. "Never pay for room, won't start now".

Food options are still only for people willing to seriously overpay.

BTW video poker had JOB 8/5 and people were sitting there playing.

Felt like a tourist trap.

I still have hope for the poker room which they now tell me will officially open June 1.

What kind of action have you given them?

Mikewolf13,
wonder how they got your address?
Do you know?? lucky you.
Chick got a post card too with two nights comped. Sunday through Friday. I do like the Casino so I know where I will be most of the time if we are down that end of the board walk
Got an email today for comped nights through September.

Immediately tried to call this afternoon. Reservation line was busy -- what is this, 1987? -- for two hours. I tried calling about every 20 minutes during that time.

Tried back around 6 p.m. Sat on hold for 18 minutes and gave up.

Now I've been on hold for 34 minutes and counting.

Does anyone work at this place? No wonder they aren't making any money.
