Nice. Just checked my mail and even though I have yet to set foot in the place I received a nice mailer offering two comped nights any two days of the week except Memorial Day weekend.

I openend my usuual credit line, played there twice trying to get noticed, and still haven't heard a thing.

Maybe they are buying lists, or segmenting the market by games played and location.

Would you mind elaborating on your action (average bet, amount of time). Also, any details on comp earning for tables?

I am going to be in AC next weekend (Memorial Day); and haven't decided if it's worth giving Revel any *real* play. (I did fool around, playing some unrated $5 dice a few weeks ago, at Revel)

Two visits, 4 hours each at the mini bac tables. Played every hand, min bet $100, going up to $300 and $500 in the last 1/3 of the shoe. Both times were on a Wednesday afternoon,

I learned not to play the Macau style tables to get comped with these wagers, just not enough hands per hour.

Hey, maybe they heard about me,(or looked me up in the Griffin data base) LOL

At least the Borgata still likes me.

BTW, I did not play craps there. I only do $25 on the pass line with two come bets and full odds.
I would not really expect much for that play.
Just another thought.

I live in New Jersey and drive to AC.
Our friend ,Ms. Flowers, is out of state and presumably has more travel expenses.
She is also a slot machine player.

Those may be factors in the comp decision process. Certainly if you were talking to a host these are relevant bargaining points.

Thanks. I pretty much only play Macao style; similar to your spreads.

With dice, I changed my strategy; and it seems to being paying off. Mind you, this is purely with regard to recreational comp play. I now start $60 6 and $60 8 to lock in a $100+ rating. I was finding the extreme variation of little (to no) rating for full odds was hurting me. Once things are 'on target' and the pit has warmed up to me, I step back to the line with full odds + one or two come bets (full odds). I also place the 6 & 8, and conservatively press them (of course, managing a manipulation of my bets due to come numbers). I've been finding now that my dice average is $180 to $300 where as before, it was more like $75 to $125. Of course, YMMV.

They must be buying lists. I play slots and VP.
